Since young, weekends (including friday nights) have always been my favourite days of the wk. They are the only days you can fully indulge in activities you like doing without actually having something else at the back of your mind. They're the only 2 precious days of the week whereby you're entitled to feel guilt free for just relaxing, not doing anything, sleeping in, keeping your mind off work and/or just enjoying urself while being in good company. "Lazy weekends" as what Shereen often croons over the airwaves.

Above all, weekends are also family days. I guess as we grow up, each and everyone of us inevitably have more busy schedules and committments that it's not surprising if the people you often neglect the most are the very ones you stay with. The ones whom you call family. It is therefore increasingly important to actually make it an effort to allocate time for one another. We learnt this the hard way but well, it's better late than never.

Some updates from the past wkend:

A new set of toys I got for Ryan! Hope I'm not spoiling him! Haha

At the back of the huge toy box was this picture which I'd 'test' him on. He'd shout YAY really loudly with his 2 hands raised upright whenever he picks up the correct toy animal I pointed at. Talk abt cuteness!

I love this! Just look at the dog spending a quiet moment with its owner. Sweet!

I thought this was a great shot of father and son. But when I showed serene this, all she said was 'the scenery is nice'. bleah.

Living in the east certainly has its perks!

Just the other day, someone asked me what happiness is to me. I couldn't quite answer to that but I think I have a rough answer to it now. To me, my happiness is derived from the happiness of those around me. I'd be really happy as long as they are happy. Hope tt answers! =)
