This was one of the more recent spur-of-the-moment family trips outta Singapore this yr. The last time was to Bangkok just a wk before the final exams in sec 3 I think. =) Gosh... tt's like 6-7 years back tt we went overseas together as a family! Anyways, we got stuff planned just a couple of days before we left actually. It's amazing huh!

Everything was great except for the weather. It just kept raining and raining so we could hardly do anything! We stayed at this house (buana 9) that's really spacious and pretty! The best part of it all was tt it was only a 5-10 mins walk to the beach. My only regret was tt I cld not dive due to a mixture of elements - bad weather, a paranoid mum and not forgetting the fact tt I got to babysit too. Haha... But well, I'm not exactly complaining.

Hitched a 45 mins ferry ride to bintan at Tanah Merah ferry terminal. I actually found it pretty cool when the captain started making announcements pre-departure and upon embarking, pseudo-plane-like. It's such a different experience back then in those days when we took ferry rides to kusu island for example! Haha

Took ryan out for a swim as soon as it stopped raining. He loves the slide SO much tt we had to take turns to go with him.

Went for dinner at their famous kelong restaurant. And guess what? Most of their dishes were spicy. But it was still good! While waiting for the shuttle, we fooled ard a little and I brought ryan to check the fishes and crabs out. He was totally in love with and fascinated by them.

Breakfast buffet was good. There was soooo much food. Just look at our young food critic ryan with his arm raised. (he was saying yay in tt shot actually. haha)

sun sea sand...lovely beach, sandcastles, deck chairs and some hammocks. Poor sis was banned from wearing her bikini! Haha... da jie... we shld go together the next time. Just the 3 of us alright! Hahaha.. and pls! Do a weather check first!
