Heyhey everybody! How's it going? Enjoying ur hols so far? Was checking out a few of my friends' blogs when it hit me tt hey...it has been quite some time since I last blogged. Haha... Can't quite recall what i've been busying myself with for the past few wks... let me think...just meeting up with friends, basking in the festive season, chillaxing, babysitting as well as bringing the kids out... Nothing exciting and out of the extraordinary but well... really enjoying every "school-less" moment with ppl I wish I cld have spent more time with esp during the school term. Kinda dread thinking abt what life would be in store for me in a couple of wks time but oh well... whatever. ;)

Met up with cheapos the other day just to chill, chat and have fun. It was a pity tt mandy chose to go for a free dinner with her boss and colleagues over us! Hurmph! Haha.. but well, mandy singh, if u happen to be reading this, we're still proud of u nonetheless for sticking true to our motto! haha... Did u heed deafie's advice by bringing along loadsa tupperwares? HAHAHA. Alright I know... pompous shall shut the eff up! She knows she certainly doesn't want to incur ur wrath. ;)

It was a really long wait for the shuttle bus to take us to costa sands from the train station but with good company, the long wait doesn't seem to be tt long after all! In fact, the shuttle ride itself which I think, ought not to have lasted for more than 10 mins, seemed to be more of a torture! Guoliang and I could barely breathe cos someone in there had really stinky feet! *faints* hahaha

Told u living in the east always has it perks! Never knew the setting sun looks so pinkish in pasir ris!

Oh yeah... we were given 2 complimentary tix to either wild wild wet or escape themepark upon checking in. Eventually, we chose to go to escape themepark. There weren't many rides to take actually so we took the ones tt seemed more scary just to test our gungho-ness and guts. If u dun already know abt it, I'm extremely afraid of heights and rides like these with drops and sudden plunges. But despite my fear, I would still want to take them. Haha...Weird eh? Alright.. coming back to this...It was REALLY funny. hahaha... I know I'd probably be skinned alive if he saw this but really... it was so funny. Our very first ride was this one called the rainbow that swung us up to a height of 9 storeys before plummeting down. The speed and height varies with each cycle and it was fun but it wasn't as scary as i imagined it to be. Honestly, it looked and sounded scary but there wasn't much kick when u really experienced it for urself. The ones overseas are much scarier!

Anyways, I had absolutely no knowledge that it was gl's virgin attempt at such rides. He seemed ok while we were in line waiting for our turns. During this first ride itself, I was talking to him and telling him tt it wasn't as scary as i imagined it to be. But guess what? I received no response from him throughout the ride and I kept asking him... gl.. r u ok? HAHAHA... He kept quiet and hardly stirred in his seat. Ok... maybe this sounds a bit exaggerated but u get the idea. Haha. But well, the good thing is that the subsequent rides we took felt much better for him and he enjoyed himself.

After we were done and as we hobbled down in search for another ride to take, I asked gl if he was ok cos he looked kinda scared just now. It was only then tt he told me it was his virgin attempt at such rides. Oh man! Why didn't he tell me? I felt bad. =\ Haha...And I felt worse when I asked him why he still took the ride and he replied tt it was bcos i wanted to take them. Hmm... u sure? Pushing the blame to me huh! Or was it just cos u wanted to appear 'man'? Hahaha.. kidding. We went on to take more rides after he said he was ok and wanted to try out for more. Our next ride was this water flume ride called wet & wild which according to the website, is Asia's highest flume ride. It was fun and we both enjoyed being wet! GL looked as if he jumped into the sea or something after the ride cos he was soaking wet. HAHAHA. I was smart to bend down while we plunged so yeah... the end result was tt he became more of a victim than me. ;)

We took the viking ride called the pirate ship as well and this I admit, was one ride I wanted to take cos I wanted to see how different it felt from when I was a child to now. And yeah... it really does make a difference cos it seemed much scarier before.
