The following are just some pix taken during my Germany trip in 2005. Some of them are pix from Switzerland and France. I can't quite recall the names for some of them... so pardon me if there happen to be any errors alright! haha! Boy! How I yearn to be back in Europe again!
The view from the plane's simply breathtaking isn't it?
We have reached Frankfurt after the really long flight!
The German ICE
Time to get our bio clocks adjusted while waiting for the ICE to take us to Freiburg!
The girls in the prog. Never regretted going for this though I was the only one from my faculty. Made many new friends from other facs (mostly engine or arts) too!
With the host families. We were late so we weren't in the pic. Schade!
My hosts Frau Elisabeth und Herr Dietz at their workplace. They own a pharmacy (Apotheke).

Whee! We've reached Switzerland! The Swiss flag!

"SHE" at Switz!
Yixiang and Michelle at one of the churches in Switzerland. We were lucky tt day cos the church tower was opened FOC! Climbing up the tower was excruciating cos it was cram. u cld only climb up and down the stairs single-file) But once u reached the top, it was all worth it. The view was nothing short of magnificent.
A kindergarten in the woods. There's where samuel and his siblings attend school! Interesting concept dun u think so? We had a real BBQ tt night using tree branches and a bonfire. Cool isn't it!

The Gemuese (vege) family! It kinda looks a bit sparse right! Haha
With my german Mama Elisabeth at this place tt served really good desserts like banana split!! OH MAN! SLURPS! But it was a freaking huge portion. haha

Extremely delicious Sachertorte (chocolate cake). U might even reach ur big O just consuming this man! haha

Germans really enjoy life, especially the retirees ... sipping hot tea/coffee in the chilly winds while looking out into the sea. How awesome's tt?

But I had something to look forward to which was my student exchange programme (SEP) for a semester in the US at the end of yr 2 and start of year 3! Woots!
