Thank goodness the skies cleared yesterday after the afternoon rain. We went to east coast park like always, only tt this time ard, it was to attend mum's family day. They call it the beach sundown party. It was fun! Though the weather was excruciatingly hot, but still... the combination of sun, sea and sand dispelled all our complaints abt our burning scalps! Haha!

Mum, sab and I went there first before we were joined by serene, ben and the kids. Guess what was our mode of transport? Hahaha! I suggested walking to ecp which we eventually did. It was pretty cool actually... though it wasn't exactly a short walk from home, but still, it wasn't as tiring as we thought. As we walked, we bitched and before we knew it, we were already at ecp. I kinda retraced my TJC jogging tracks too. Haha.. still recall those horrible tj days whereby we'd have to run outdoors, pass by russell's place, towards ecp and then returning to school from ecp towards Casa Fina and back to school. URGH! Hahaha!

There was so much food available yesterday! Nachos, Hotdogs, Samosa, Ice-cream, BBQ Food Buffett tt included satay, chicken wings, prawns, sausages, corn, dessert etc (By Smiling Orchid) as well as Liquid Buffett (tiger beer, iced lemon tea and canned drinks like H20, 7-up Pepsi etc). We ate till we almost exploded I think. Haha! It was great cos it was free flow and u cld take watever u wanted. Unlike the old coupon system tt restricted u to the type of food u cld take. But well, this system kinda has its cons as well cos there were quite a few gatecrashers like some foreign workers who blatently helped themselves to the food!

Oh yeah... something funny to round up the day. Ben signed serene up for some singing contest called 1 min of fame. So she was kinda dragged up on stage to sing inpromptu. LOL! It was hilarious and she showed no signs of cold feet though I bet she was secretly cursing ben! Haha! She didn't win but we gotta give her props for being such a sport! I mean.. especially since she was competing with kids as young as 3 yrs old. LOL! Hahaha!
