2006. SEP at University of California, San Diego was extremely fun. Classes were similar to back home but the only diff was tt it felt much more relaxing learning in ucsd. Professors there seem to be really passionate abt teaching and they're really encouraging especially when it comes to grading. Project work was pretty fun too and I really enjoyed my exchange there. I stayed off-campus but it turned out to be a wise choice as not only was transport free since I stayed at Costa Verde which was within the free radius zone of the uni, grocery shopping was also convenient cos it was along the way. Oh! And another plus point was tt UTC Mall was just a 10 mins walk away from home. Muahaha!

We tried being funky. Hahaha

And so tt was abt it. Some snippets of my SEP. Haha. It was just fun fun fun! Imagine always having something to do each and every wkend. Travelling and sightseeing was fun, especially when ur with crazy ppl like them! Haha. It made schooling bearable cos there's always something to look forward to at the end of the day or during the wkends. But it's not like schooling was a dread there either. The only bad thing's tt texts and bks are just so expensive there!! I really miss those carefree days, the teachers and the great friends I made during this trip. Although we still keep in touch through emails and msn, but still... it's different w/o face to face contact. Haha... I just hope tt we'd catch up with one another somewhere on planet earth sometime soon! :)

The semester after I came back from SEP was pretty trying. Not only must I catch up with 1 sem's worth of work, but I also had to readjust myself back to the local system. Classes are no longer in 50 mins sessions like it was in ucsd but it's now back to 2 hrs! So very often, I'd have to tell myself to WAKE UP and to quit spacing out! And tt happened really frequently actually. I was just so restless during class! It didn't help tt the semester I returned was a heavy one with mods that involved soooo much prj work. It was really really really trying. But I was glad things turned out well eventually. I even improved my cap during tt sem which was pretty baffling actually. Haha!

Next up... 2007's Summer Program at China!
