The last time I was at the Science ctr was when I was in pri school. The past few wks seem really odd to me cos it seems as though I'd been visiting the local paid attractions quite a bit, one after the other. Just a coincidence I guess. With kids especially, it makes it seem almost a norm or a must to take them there for at least once. It was the zoo the other day, the science ctr in this entry and the bird park just last wkend. More updates abt the bird park later. The drive there wasn't exactly that long but somehow or other, the thought of the science ctr being located all the way in the west kinda puts an easterner off. Hahaha! Mum had to work whilst Ben was off to Golf in Malaysia, so it was just me, serene, sabrina, ryan, Ilyssa and toonjang.

So yup... the science ctr changed quite a bit from the last time when I was there. There's now this pretty fun water play area. I dun recall having this in the past. It was quite fun shooting water at passers-by or at each other and seeing balls being transported from one station to the next just based on the energy flow of water.

As you can see, the young one seems to be having quite alot of fun spraying water at guess who? Sabrina! HAHA! She had to dodge from his water shots really fast!

And with F1 fever these days, it wasn't exactly tt surprising to have an area dedicated to just F1. Ryan loves those racing cars. He tried cutting the q to play with those u know... simulated racing car-drives. But his legs weren't long enough to reach those pedals. So... so much for him squeezing to the front to cut the q! Haha!

That's lovely Ilyssa playing with the phone that tried explaining to her how dangerous some germs could be. Do u think she cld understand what they were talking about?

At another section of the science ctr, there were some slides and transporters. Serene had some fun sliding down this slide too. But she claimed that she almost got stuck in it halfway down! Haha! Ilyssa looking pensive. Haha...

And of course, the famous little chicks. That's about the only thing I rmb abt the science ctr when I knew we were going there. The feeling's a little bizarre cos little did we expect then that we'd be back with 2 kids in tow years later.

Look at these small play houses. Ilyssa looked quite happy playing with ryan's windows.

And that's ryan coming out of his small little house. Knock Knock.. who's there?...

There was also a dinosaur exhibition there. The kids loved it. Ryan especially. He is crazy over dinosaurs these days after Jocelyn's son gave him a bag of dinosaur toys to play with. Ryan now knows a t-rex from a triceratops. Amazing. All this coming from a boy barely 3 years old. He knows some other dinos names as well.. but well... I can't quite recall too. Reptor? What else? Anyways, he's enchanted by a dino egg in this pic. haha!

Sabrina seemed happy even though she might jolly well be the dinosaur's lunch! Haha!

A last shot before the huge t-rex before we left the science ctr. It seems like it'd most probably be a long time before we next step foot there!
